Dark Ace
Talon Switchblade Elite
This special version of the Talon Blade is very tough, heavily armed, and very powerful. Forged in the royal smelters of Cyclonia as the evil answer to the Sky Knight Air Skimmer III ULTRA. It almost outperforms the Skimmer in every category, except for manoeuvrability due to its excessive power and weight. The Switch Blade boasts the worst crystal fuel economy in the sky, which probably doesn't matter when you control 90% of the crystal mining in the charted world. That said, if this machine does happen to run out of crystal fuel it tends to drop out of the sky like a rock. Secondary steel blades flip out of the wings to slice and dice an opponent's ride in a dog fight. The frame is equipped with a solid iron nose designed to withstand (a deliberate) head-on collision with other sky-rides.
The Dark Ace's model is equipped with three-inch thick bronze absorption panels on the wings that repel all but the most powerful energy blasts. The twin Magma 66 jet engines are the most powerful engines ever fitted on sky ride. A single ball-joint articulation between the front and back wheel allows him to make impossible turns in bike mode.
